My Fantasy...

Hello Everyone-
My name is Hibba Munjy and I am a California native and I come from a Middle Eastern background. All together I am a unique mix; I am an Iraqi, Kurdish, American, Muslim, Shiite, Sunni woman... a lot of different identities all rolled into one! I have three sisters, Zaina (32), Me (30), Luma (28) and Huda (23) who are truly my dearest friends.
I spent a long time working in the corporate world and was the General Manager for Gap and Banana Republic for almost a decade. Then one day I had an ah-ha moment, quit my job and decided to go back to school and that's when I found myself in the world of education. I have my bachelors in Communication and I am now working on my Master's in Education along with a credential.
I created a curriculum called Life Skills that teaches students how to prepare for the real world after high school. The lessons include, resume workshops, how to go through an interview, leadership/management skills, business etiquette, human connection skills and how to create timeline for the future. Each lesson is rooted in ethics, integrity and value for the human being above anything else. The goal of life skills is to teach students that  the most important thing in life is the value of morality, and that knowledge without virtue or values means nothing,
I always tell my students to visit fantasy land because we can always find bits of reality within our fantasies.... I suppose my fantasy is to one day implement the Life Skills program into schools across the country and inspire students to believe that being a person with morality is the more valuable than anything else...
